E-COMMERCE BUSINESS ANALYST
We are looking for an E-Commerce Business Analyst who is responsible for key channel growth and performance improvements. He or she will apply data analytics skills to optimize the operation process and find potential opportunities for business growth. He or she will also partner with both internal and external teams to define and execute the strategies to ensure the company’s overall goals are achieved.
Drive key channel growth and performance improvements by providing in-depth attribution model analysis and insights;
Develop and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting for sales campaigns;
Provide recommendations on internal operations and delivery process improvements;
Research and analyze sales record and consumer preferences based on market segment, product type, price, and industry to identify factors affecting sales and product demand, and to gain better control of product line and materials inventory;
Analyze sales data and generate reports using statistical methods and software to evaluate performance by various criteria;
Evaluate the pricing of online products, utilize data-mining and database mechanisms to obtain data for analysis;
Collect and synthesize past and present business intelligence data from internal databases, external trends, available industry reports, public information or field reports;
Contribute to the accuracy and integrity of data through validation, testing, and routine data audits;
Track the current financial progress against the forecasts to make sure that the company is on track, and make adjustments to the forecasts and report any variances to senior management;
Review, manage, and maintain inventory levels and determine purchase order releases on assigned Marketplace Channels;
Use tactical approaches to utilize marketing communications (social media, email, other platforms, etc.) to generate demand and promote sales;
Understand demand forecast drivers and proactively analyze forecast accuracy, advise management of issues and significant variances between existing forecasts and actual sales;
Support management and implement business strategy into practice.
Required Skills and Qualities:
Master’s degree in Industrial and System, Logistics or other closely related area;
Solid statistical quantitative, qualitative and financial analytical skills;
Proficient in technical software such as SQL, HTML, Python and R;
Proficient in web analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Google Datastudio, and ad-serving tools such as Adwords and Facebook ads manager;
Superior presentation and Excel modeling skills
In-depth understanding in business process and marketing strategies;
Good problem-solving skills, high work ethics, attention to detail and excellent ability to drive toward superior business results.
